hi! im dayle.

in September 2023 I was in search of a new hobby, something to keep me busy. I've always struggled with anxiety so I needed something that would help me keep my mind busy. A friend suggested I should give candle making a go. So I did just that. And little did I know that this would become something that I am truly passionate about.

I started selling my candles to close friends, family and work colleagues who were all able to provide me with constructive feedback. At this time my brand name was Candles by Dayle. I also started spending endless hours and many late nights researching the art of candle making and testing - just really throwing myself into the science behind it all!

By February of 2024 I had reached a point where I had learnt so much and felt I had greatly bettered myself as a candle maker that I decided to do a complete re-brand and reach out to a wider audience. This is when ScentFicks was introduced.

I absolutely love the art and the process of candle making and I want to be able to share it with you.
